Cote d’Or Seychelles Footprints is located on Praslin Island.
By Plane:
If you are arriving from overseas, you’ll be landing at the main international airport on Mahe Island, where you will clear customs, and then proceed to the nearby domestic terminal. From here, you can take a small plane directly to Praslin Island. There are many flights back and forth between the islands throughout the day. It’s a short 15 minute flight with beautiful views of the ocean beneath you. Once at the local Praslin airport, you can take one of the many taxis directly to Cote d’Or Footprints, which is near Anse Volbert. It’s a small island. Any taxi driver will know exactly where to take you!
By Boat:
If you wish to travel from Mahe Island to Praslin Island by boat, the most convenient and affordable option is the Inter-Island Ferry called Cat Cocos. These super fast catamarans will get you to there in less than an hour. You have the option of the air conditioned upper class cabin area or choose one of the open-aired seats on the deck of the boat. Cat Cocos is also a great option if you decide to do a day trip from Praslin to La Digue, one of the other neighboring islands.
Taxis:
Taxis are the best option. Whether you’ve arrived at the local Praslin airport or the Praslin boat landing, you can take one of the many taxis directly to Cote d’Or Footprints, which is near Anse Volbert. Again, it’s a very small island. Any taxi driver will know exactly where to take you!
